新见村位于闽侯县洋里乡东部，辖北斗、田挡里、草蜢营、大厝、堡里五个自然村，村民多靠种地、养殖、做小生意和外出打工谋生。[1]
地名由来[edit]
祖先择地在山垅之上建屋，取名「陞见」，寓意登高望远；后来用方言谐音写作「新见」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1978年单独设立大队，1984年设立新见村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
1991年2月，村子获闽侯县「计划生育达标单位」称号；1993年5月，获闽侯县「绿色团支部」称号；2003年7月，获闽侯县「先进基层党组织」称号。福建省爱卫办于2021年11月评定，新见村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
