地名由来[edit]

村中溪水边立有两块大石，景观奇特。村名取义于“奎”字，该字主文运、文事，先人以此祈愿子孙多出文人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村域历史可追溯到青铜器时代，村内现存奎石遗址。[1]

1984年设立奎石村委会。[1]

村内产业以橄榄和龙眼种植、工艺品制造为主。[2]
