地理环境[edit]
村庄位于闽侯县西部，距乡政府约1千米。乡政府就在它附近，东边连着奎石村和元口村，南边是大模村，北边靠南下村。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄是在公社化之后划分而成的，1984年后沿用这一名称。[1]
村落与人文[edit]
村中的榜上水库修建于20世纪50年代，可用于灌溉、养殖，也供人休闲。[1][2]
鸿尾中心小学创办于1925年，据博雅地名网，现为省级示范校。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月认定鸿尾村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
