溪南村位于竹岐乡南部的偏僻山区，与永泰县丹云乡相邻。村名因溪水向南流而得名。2021年11月，该村被评为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此前属永泰县白云区，1958年改属闽侯，1984年才另设村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子主要产业为水稻、蔬菜与林木，多数村民以外出务工为主要收入来源。[1]
