元格村位于竹岐乡西部的半山区，毗邻鸿尾乡，距乡镇中心约10公里，村子就在316国道边上。村内有两百多年的油茶种植历史，清末进士陈景韶的故居至今保存。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历有两种说法。博雅地名网称原名“源格”，1958年成立源格大队，1984年改名元格村民委员会。闽侯县的报道则说，鸿尾乡旧称“穆源”，此村介于鸿尾与竹岐之间，于是取名“源岬”，福州方言中“源岬”与“元格”读音相近。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村子位于竹岐乡西部半山区，森林覆盖率较高。[2]

经济[edit]

油茶种植与采摘的历史至少有两百多年，清代即已有之。80年代末，村中油茶种植面积已达2000亩。[3]

茶籽以人工采摘，霜降前后采收，经暴晒、分拣与晾晒，冬至前后才压榨。[3]

人口民族[edit]

陈姓为村中的主姓，其先祖自永泰县迁入。[3]

著名人物[edit]

陈景韶（1874年至1922年）是本村的乡贤，清光绪二十四年（1898年）中进士，授江苏丹徒知县，1909年升任福建兴化知府，但未赴任。辛亥革命后他回福州定居，编修的《元格陈氏族谱》传世。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的陈景韶故居至今保存完好。清光绪年间敕建的孝女坊，今仅存遗址。[2][3]

2019年12月，本村入选第二批国家森林乡村。[1]

2021年初，该村列为福州市乡村振兴中高级版试点。[1]

2022年10月，本村被福建省农业农村厅列入第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇名单。[1]

2022年12月，本村获2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村称号。[1]

2024年6月，本村列入福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
