历史沿革[edit]
村名由苏湾、荷洋两个村名各取首尾一字合成。[1]
1974年前，这一带属高洲大队的范围；此后至1984年间，另设苏洋大队，1984年起组建村民委员会。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
村庄面积约2平方公里，其中山林占一部分，另有可供开发的洲地。村子与白龙村、榕东村、榕中村等村相邻。[1]
福州地铁2号线苏洋站设在村内，是竹岐乡境内唯一的地铁站。[3]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，该村被福建省爱卫办评为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
2025年5月，该村被认定为福州市级“一村一品”专业村，主导产业为茉莉花。[1]
