竹岐乡是福建省福州市闽侯县的一个乡，位于县境中南部、闽江南岸，乡政府驻竹岐村，北面隔江与县城甘蔗街道相望。316国道沿江穿境而过。乡内的闽越水镇是国家4A级旅游景区，庄边山遗址则是省级文物保护单位。[1][3][6][7]
历史沿革[edit]
竹岐的地名来历有两种说法。博雅地名网称此地旧作“竹崎”，因山地盛产毛竹、道路崎岖，后将“崎”字改为“岐”；维基百科则说，江边一处名为“将军岐”的地方长着青竹，地名由此而来，同时也提到山地多竹的说法。[1][4]
据百度百科，民国二年（1913年）闽侯县设立时，此地称竹崎乡；博雅地名网则写作竹岐乡。[2][1]
中华人民共和国成立之初，此地与白沙合为第十区。1958年竹岐人民公社成立，溪南、春光、天台、前山、里洋、蒲洋、叶洋七个大队自永泰县划归本社。1984年恢复乡建制。[1][4]
地理环境[edit]
乡境位于闽侯县中南部、闽江南岸，东面与上街镇交界，南面与永泰县丹云乡接壤，西面邻接鸿尾乡。乡域面积，百度百科作224平方千米，博雅地名网作219平方公里，两说并存。[2][1]
316国道沿江穿境，京福高速公路也经过境内。乡政府所在的竹岐村与县城甘蔗街道隔江相望，中间有闽侯大桥相连，离县城约3公里。[3][5]

据百度百科，截至2019年末，竹岐乡户籍人口为30976人；博雅地名网另记约2.66万人，未注明年份。[2][1]

乡内农业以水稻为主，并有经济林，还设有竹编工艺品厂。[1]
2019年末，全乡工业企业共376家，其中规模以上的为16家。[2]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，竹岐乡被福建省爱卫办确认为福建省卫生乡镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
闽越水镇位于乡内麦浦路，是国家4A级旅游景区，总占地近3000亩，以“海丝·闽越”为文化主题，景区的建筑参照福州的历史风貌设计。[6]
庄边山遗址是省级文物保护单位，位于乡境内的庄边山。遗址1956年被发现，1960年春试掘，1982年至1983年进行了大面积发掘，出土石、贝、陶质的生产工具与生活器具，年代属新石器时代，文化面貌归于昙石山文化。[7][8]
维基百科所列闽侯县文物保护单位中，竹岐乡还有程赟墓（唐至明，古墓葬，在榕东村西约500米）和火炬许氏大厝（清代古建筑，在火炬村）。[9]
