桐口村位于福建省福州市闽侯县荆溪镇中心，东临厚屿村，西与光明村相接，外福铁路穿村而过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历与闽剧唱词有关。解放前这里是桐口乡政府所在地，也是集市中心，店铺和旅馆林立，桐口粉干当时已名扬海内外。[2]
人口民族[edit]
村下辖桐口、桐溪两个自然村，有8个村民小组，共380户、1347人，博雅地名网未注统计年份。村民姓氏达30多个，以高、程、林为主姓。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
灵光桥始建于宋代，为石构平梁桥，全长约30米，宽2.3米，南侧石梁上阴刻「灵光桥」铭文。1989年列为闽侯县第一批县级文物保护单位。[3]
村中原有灵光寺，原址在外福线铁路旁，现为桐口小学所在地。[2]
经济[edit]
桐口米粉被列为中国地理标志产品。[4]
村中的桐口白鹤粉干有限公司已能规模化生产，畅销东南亚的还有桐口粉干与白果干。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，桐口村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
