埔前村位于福建省福州市闽侯县荆溪镇关源中心地带，东临福州北峰山峦，关源大溪从村中由北向南流过。[1]
地名由来[edit]
早年各姓始祖迁来时，都在一道山坡前建房定居，村子因此称「坡前村」。「坡前」与「埔前」福州方言读音相近，村名后来逐渐变为埔前。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后村民合作化，组成高级社；1984年设立村委会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记全村501户、2112人，未注统计年份。村中以徐、董两姓为主，另有李、侯、陈、程等姓。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中保留明代古民居3座、清代古民居20多座，并有上千年的古枫树、石狮井与溪卵石铺成的古村道。东林寺、大王庙、长生堂也在村中。[2]
每年农历正月二十八至三十日，村中举行「游大王」活动，是埔前也是关源地区最隆重的民间节日。[2]
经济[edit]
埔前线面是村里最具特色的物产，村中有三分之一的农户从事线面加工。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2023年12月，埔前村被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产品为手工线面。[1]
