六墩村位于福建省福州市闽侯县荆溪镇北部，与福州郊区的优山茶场相距约2公里，村委会设在下洪坑。[1]
地名由来[edit]
六墩是古称关源里三十六墩的一部分，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年前这里属关中乡的六墩片。1961年7月组建六墩大队；文革期间一度叫红灯大队，三年后才改回原名。1984年设村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域面积7.94平方公里，林木、竹林、果树等面积10510亩，农田1236亩。村民分为七个小组，共266户、1133多人，博雅地名网未注统计年份。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村委会所在的下洪坑是畲族居住的地方。[1]
历史人文[edit]
抗战后期至解放战争时期，地下党组织在王大坑自然村开展工作，王大坑因此成为革命老区基点村。1949年8月，村民组织民工为南下解放军运送支前物资。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
云林院八角井位于上洪坑，凿于宋熙宁七年（1074年），井口围以八角形石栏。2013年被列为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
六墩村在2021年11月获省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年12月，六墩村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
