荆溪社区位于福建省福州市闽侯县荆溪镇，前身为荆溪村委会，2006年改设为社区，属镇中心区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年这里以荆溪乡为名；1958年组成荆溪大队，文革时称红星大队；1984年荆溪村村委会成立，2006年11月改为居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区位于福州西郊，离福州市中心约17公里，离闽侯县城约6公里。社区约6平方公里，下含徐家村、江坂与溪头三个自然村。[1]
人口[edit]
博雅地名网记社区设26个村民小组，共918户，总人口3213人，未注统计年份。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
荆山境位于社区内的江屿山南麓，即荆山一带，始建于宋代，最初是纪念苏东坡的江屿庙。明嘉靖年间徐木昂在此筑荆山精舍，山名随之改为荆山。现存建筑主体为清代遗构，为闽侯县级文物保护单位。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
1991年，这里被福建省政府评为「明星村」。荆溪社区于2022年12月获评「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
