上街镇是福建省福州市闽侯县的一个镇，位于县境中南部，东临闽江，福州大学城建在其境内。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

上街一带古称花屿。唐末闽王王审知为部下林硕德的府第题匾「上溪」，地名随之改称上溪。清光绪年间此处集市兴旺，「溪」字改为「街」，得名上街。[5][6]

1913年前此地属侯官县。解放初，它与建新乡同为闽侯县第六区的组成部分；1951年两地分开，此处成为第十三区。1956年，本地与南通、南屿合为南屿区。[1][3]

1958年设上街公社，1984年改为乡，1992年改设镇建制，镇制沿用至今。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

闽侯县人民政府的资料称，上街镇位于福州西郊，东临闽江。镇域面积为157平方公里。百度百科所载的面积为139.16平方千米，未注年份，两说并列。[2][3]

福州大学城位于上街镇境内，316国道穿过全镇。[4][1]

人口[edit]

闽侯县人民政府2025年10月发布的行政区划资料载，上街镇有27260户，人口9.39万人。百度百科引用的是截至2019年末的户籍人口108309人。两个数字的统计时点与口径不同，二者并列。[2][3]

产业与物产[edit]

镇办企业以烟花、木画、木雕和脱胎工艺品为主，产品销往国内外。境内盛产茉莉、荔枝和橄榄，茉莉花茶是当地的特产。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

侯官村的侯官镇国宝塔是一座五代闽国时期建造的七层方形石塔，百度百科称一说为唐贞观时期所建，现为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位，由福建省人民政府公布。[8]

榕桥村的十四门桥横跨溪源江，据百度百科，始建于北宋元丰年间，元丰八年（1085年）建成。[7]

溪源宫位于溪源宫村龙潭山南麓，为福州地区道教宫观。超山寺位于榕桥村，据百度百科，始建于南宋绍兴十三年（1143年）。[10][11]

旗山国家森林公园跨越上街镇与南屿镇两地，主峰海拔775米。[9]
