建南村是南通镇东南部的行政村，是革命老区基点村，距镇政府约4.3公里。村子南靠双贵山，与青口镇南阳顶山相接。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

建南原属瓜山村。村子处在大帽山的南面，建村时便取“建设南向”之意，命名为建南。[3]

1951年民主建政时期，此地称南甲乡，后改为建南大队；1984年设立建南村民委员会。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的白岩坑祖殿法师庙，曾是地下革命人员秘密活动的地方。群众后将其修缮，现主要用作村民聚会和文娱活动的场所。[2]
