泽苗村是南通镇中部的行政村，东侧临文山河，西与廷宅村相接，北侧为通洲河，距福州市约19公里。村中的泽江张氏宗祠有宋代始建的历史。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：此处原多河塘、湖沼，后经垦殖成为良田，先人在沼泽之地种植禾苗，故名泽苗。[3]

此地古属南港九十三乡中的白苗乡，宋代归积德乡恭顺里管辖，明代划入淮安十二都。清乾隆十二年（丁卯年，1747年）起由侯官县南港四十七都的泽苗境管辖，清末废都设区，归仙坂辖区。1984年设立泽苗村民委员会。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

泽江张氏宗祠位于村东，始建于宋代，为三进布局。祠厅悬挂“百忍堂”堂匾，据称为唐昭宗御赐；祠壁上雕刻有“二十四孝图”。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将泽苗村命名为“2021年福建省卫生村”。[1]
