洲头村是南通镇的行政村，位于镇域西北部，距福州市区约18公里，北临大樟溪，与方庄村隔溪相望。村内有省级卫生村、乡村治理示范村镇等荣誉。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自地势：村落位于南港河畔，处在沙洲的顶端。文化大革命期间村子曾改称“五一大队”，1984年设立洲头村民委员会。[3][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有黄觉民故居、泰山庙等古迹。南通社区的苏州桥也在本村与南通社区的交界处。[2][5]

当地至今保留农历三月初六游泰山爷、九月初九过重阳节的习俗。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2012年，洲头村列入「福州市精品示范村」。2020年12月，本村入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单，产品为绣球菌。福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月认定其为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1][2]
