桥街社区是南通镇下辖的社区，位于镇域东北部，祥南公路从社区中部穿过。2021年11月被命名为福建省卫生村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1964年，桥街自泽洋管区分出，成立桥街大队；1984年改称桥街村民委员会。2006年，依据闽侯县人民政府的批复，设立桥街社区居民委员会。[2]
社区名称来自附近的两处地名。社区位于泽苗桥与泽苗街之间，因此得名“桥街”。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将桥街社区命名为“2021年福建省卫生村”。[1]
