南通镇是福建省福州市闽侯县下辖的镇，位于县境东南部、乌龙江南岸，镇政府驻南通社区。镇域下辖4个社区和15个行政村，2019年末户籍人口49512人。[1][3][4]

镇域在2023年被认定为福州市市级农业产业强镇，主导产业为蔬菜；境内有十八重溪景区和榕荫桥等文物古迹。[2][8][10]

历史沿革[edit]

南通镇古称“南港”。[3] 元明时期，境内分属侯官五芝乡八都，以及怀安积德乡的十一、十二都；到清代，一部分归侯官县五芝乡八都管辖，另一部分归积德乡四十七都。[1]

辛亥革命以前这一带属侯官县，之后改属闽侯县。解放初，南通曾与南屿合为一个区，1956年又与上街、南屿合组南屿区。1958年5月撤区后先设为乡，同年9月组建南通人民公社；1984年起又称乡，到1992年8月才改设为镇。[2][6]

“南通”之名取自谐音，寓道路难通之意：镇域三面环山、一面临水，旧时陆路不便，对外交通主要依靠水路。[2][7]

荣誉方面，2020年12月，南通镇获得福建省卫生乡镇的命名；2014年9月，环境保护部公布其为2012年至2013年度的国家级生态乡镇。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇境属亚热带海洋性季风气候，年降水量在1180—1650毫米之间，年均气温19—19.7℃。常见的灾害是冰雹、洪涝与台风。境内大樟溪支流祠堂江南北贯穿。[1]

经济[edit]

2023年12月，南通镇获评福州市市级农业产业强镇，以蔬菜为主导产业。[2] 镇内的金鱼、荔枝、龙舟等特色产业，分别以古城村、上洲村、方庄村为代表。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

十八重溪景区位于南通乡（即今南通镇）境内，是大樟溪下游南岸的支流所在。因溪流众多，取名“十八”。该景区2004年列入第五批国家重点风景名胜区。[8][9]

榕荫桥位于苏坂，南宋隆兴二年（1164年）始建，清乾隆五十三年（1788年）重建，光绪二十四年（1898年）由陈璧主持重修。1989年列为闽侯县第一批文物保护单位。[10]

瓜山屯兵营址在方山村，系元末陈友定为守卫福州而建的屯兵营，营房与演兵场遗迹犹在。2013年列为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[11]

苏州桥横跨黄际港，连接南通社区与洲头村，1929年建成，是萨镇冰当年募资修建的桥梁之一。[12]

著名人物[edit]

陈璧生于1852年，卒于1928年，苏坂人，表字玉苍。光绪三年（1877年）考中进士，先任内阁中书，后官至邮传部尚书，兼参预政务大臣。[10][12]

张章淦（1921—1948）是革命烈士，出生于廷宅村。1944年投身革命，其后入党，并在中共福州市委南区区委担任干事。[2]
