辅翼村位于祥谦镇西南部，在玉凤山南麓，背靠五虎山，面朝三峰[1]。村名原曾称“福入”，寓五福入门之意；后因福州方言谐音改为“辅翼”[1]。

山园林地5000多亩，人均耕地1.1亩，另有田地1600多亩，全境方圆约25公里[1]。

全村有1500多户、5500多人，辖6个自然村与36个村民小组[1]。
