岐尾村位于闽侯县西南部的五虎山麓，东邻洋下村，北邻福银高速公路，村东的河流直通乌龙江[1]。村中由岐尾、黄土边两个自然村组成[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

北宋元祐二年（1087年），林氏族人中的一支迁居此地，因地处平原、又近海滨而定居[1]。1962年单独设立大队，1984年改为岐尾村民委员会[1]。
