地理环境[edit]
社区两面临江，南与枕峰村相连，北面隔江与福州市区相望[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
峡南原为闽江乡的峡南村。2005年闽江乡撤销后，峡南村并入祥谦镇；2006年，经闽侯县人民政府批复，撤销村委会、设立峡南社区居民委员会[1][2]。
