洋中村位于尚干镇北部，北面临淘江，村内有尚干的主要商业街，尚干镇人民政府的驻地也在本村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村落位于一片平原上的洲地中央，洲中建有一座古厝，人称“洋中厝”，村名由此得来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村委会设立于1984年，此后一直延续。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2025年3月，本村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。2023年12月，本村获评「福州市2023年市级一村一品专业村」，主要产业是特色传统小吃。[2]
