地名由来[edit]
村名定于1958年，因解放初期上顶街已有南前路，遂以此为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
土改时期称作南前大队；到1984年，村里成立村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，南前村先后被列入淘宝村名单。福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月认定南前村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。2024年12月，福州市2024年市级“一村一品”专业村名单中有南前村。[1][2]
