地名由来[edit]
民国时村名写作「垚沙」，「垚」也写作「尧」。村子位于大樟溪下游，流沙在此沉积，故取名尧沙。[1][3]
村落[edit]
村子下辖浯江、月山、桐叶、榴花四个自然村。据百度百科，村中以唐姓为主。[2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
1959年成立尧沙大队，1984年改设尧沙村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

据闽侯县政府网站，南屿镇在五都、尧沙两村各建有父女双院士文化馆。[4]
