地名与沿革[edit]
村名因背靠唐举山、面向闽江而得，山上有千年古寺金钟阁禅寺。村子始于唐末五代（公元907年），当时有先民迁来。土改时划归竹岐公社；1957年改称唐举大队，1973年分为独立大队，1984年改设唐举村村民委员会。[1][2][3]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中古迹有白沙金钟阁禅寺，此外还有几座宗祠，分别属于虎丘黄氏唐举支系、江氏、王氏与林氏。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以农业和种植业为主，村内有石料、橄榄和旅游等企业。[2]
荣誉[edit]
唐举村于2022年12月获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
