大目埕村隶属闽侯县白沙镇，地处闽江北岸，以橄榄种植为主。村内保存有清代所建的穆江陈氏宗祠。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

此地原是平坦的沙洲，北山脚下有一条形似眼睛的小溪，村名因此得名大目埕。[1][2]

村子在宋代侯官县时期已经形成。陈氏先祖于明代正统年间（1436—1449年）由长乐江田迁入。土改期间设大目埕乡；到1984年，改为大目埕村村民委员会。[1][2]

文化[edit]

村内保存有清代所建的穆江陈氏宗祠。[2]

荣誉[edit]

大目埕村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，授予方为福建省爱卫办，时间是2021年11月。2022年12月，大目埕村被确定为2022年度福州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2024年6月，大目埕村入选福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
