院埕村是福建省福州市闽侯县白沙镇西北部的行政村，距镇政府约15公里，地处山区，以农业为主，村中有清代遗存的佛日圆明禅寺。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村子中间有一片开阔的空地，村名由此而来。村子原属大目溪大队，1973年另成大队，1984年改设村民委员会。[1][2]

关于下辖的自然村，博雅地名网作四个，百度百科则作九个，两说不一。[1][2]

文化[edit]

佛日圆明禅寺为清代遗存，寺中有元代「佛日圆明院记」碑和清代「重开山碑」。[2]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村民以种植橄榄、脐橙、蔬菜和瓜类为主，青壮年多外出经商或务工。[1][2]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办公示拟命名院埕村为福建省卫生村。[2]

2025年5月，院埕村被认定为福州市2025年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为休闲观光。[1]
