云头岭社区隶属闽侯县白沙镇，属镇中心区。社区地处云头岭山坡，地名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，早先这里是福建八闽汽车总厂的地盘，2010年改制。为便于职工及家属管理，闽侯县人民政府于2011年发文同意设立云头岭社区居民委员会，2014年挂牌成立。[1]
百度百科则说，社区的前身是七四二八工厂生活区。两说对前身的记载不同，此处并存。[2]
