化龙村位于甘蔗街道。村名与后山上的新龙桥有关，寓意祈愿子孙成凤成龙。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子早先叫化龙铺，解放前一度称化龙保；土地改革时定名化龙村，公社化期间为化龙大队。村民委员会设立于1984年。[1]

荣誉[edit]

化龙村于2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」的命名。[1]
