张村是猴屿乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境北部，地处闽江口南岸，与琅岐岛隔江对峙，村庄所在一带正是闽江的咽喉。村庄与浮岐村、猴屿村、象屿村相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄背靠后门山，相传山上有一处「猴穴」，村因此得名「猴屿张村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，村庄划归长乐四区；1956年9月改属潭头六区，1958年起隶属潭头人民公社。1987年12月，村庄划出潭头镇，此后是猴屿乡四个群众自治组织中的一个。[1]

人口[edit]

2019年初的农村土地确权汇报记载，猴屿张村有477户，人口1143人。[4]

侨乡与文化[edit]

村中设有金楠世家博物馆，以收藏金丝楠木家具为主。据2018年的报道，馆长在乡里收集了60多件金丝楠木家居，喜爱楠木的人也慕名前来观赏。[3]

荣誉[edit]

据政府网站介绍，猴屿张村获评省美丽休闲乡村；2022年9月，福建省农业农村厅曾将村庄推介为该类乡村。[2][1]

2023年12月，村庄被认定为福建省2023年度「一村一品」专业村，产业以乡村旅游为主。[1]

2025年5月，村庄被列入福建省美丽乡村示范村的创建名单。[1]
