马台村位于罗联盆地东南的山区中，村口有一条人工凿成的隧道，通往大坪村方向。村里以葡萄种植为主要产业。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

长乐区融媒体中心报道称，全村域为3.33平方千米，林地2.668平方千米；博雅地名网则记为村域面积3759.3亩，另载户171，人口562，两者均未注明年份。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，马台村约四百年前由大坪村迁来，村址四面环山，山形如马，村旁又有上马用的墩台，因此取名马台。[1]

明神宗万历三十三年（1605年），陈氏一族从大坪迁居马台，此后沿用至今。[1]

抗日战争时期，县政府曾迁来村中办公，后迁往今江田镇上珍村。一支抗日游击队也藏身村中，建立起「长乐抗日游击总队」马台根据地；村中一栋两层石头房，原是游击总队的训练基地旧址。[1][2]

1971年，乡里决定修缮水库、修建水渠，以便周边村庄用水并灌溉农田。村民们靠钢钎和铁锤，历时一年多凿通了一条穿山隧道，宽约两米，长一百余米。[2]

2019年，省绿化委员会与省林业局评定本村为「福建森林村庄」，此后又获评福州市文明村。2022年12月，马台村入选「2022年福建省卫生村」，由省爱国卫生运动委员会公布；2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；2024年6月，列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1][2]

经济[edit]

20世纪80年代，村里引进良种葡萄，建起葡萄园180亩，此后家家户户种植葡萄。早年因地处偏僻，葡萄销路不畅；如今周边村庄的游客也会前来采摘。[1][2]

文化[edit]

七十年代有21名知青下乡到马台，在这里开垦耕种。他们住过的石头房后来重修为知青楼，楼分上下两层，每层8间房。[2]
