文溪村是潭头镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，东邻潭头村和大宏村，西邻溪新村，南邻二刘村。村下辖新沃、桥头郑、洋头、宫边4个自然村。[1]

村名的来历是解放前村子称文庄，解放初期与溪新村联合设乡，此后改称文溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子先后称文溪乡、文溪大队和文溪革委会，几经更名，1983年起以文溪村委会的名称延续至今。[1]

地理与风貌[edit]

村落坐北朝南，背靠山峦，村前河流弯曲，有“状元帽”“石屏风”等山石景致。村中流传“文庄”一地三种水源的说法，分别称为“天上水”“溪中水”和“淡流水”，“淡流水”则是指农历初一、十五时，闽江水从闸门引入村内河道，用来浇灌稻田。[2]

文物古迹[edit]

文庄刘氏宗祠位于“蝙蝠山”前，祠前池塘映出莲花岩的倒影。[2]

宫边自然村有金吾尊王宫，据称宋初已建，2003年重建。村北山中有双峰寺遗址，寺院始建于唐咸通五年（864年），后因战乱毁废，现存地基与唐代石柱等构件。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，文溪村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
