地名与沿革[edit]
祠堂后有一座山名为后山，文人取雅名为阜山，村名因此山而来。[1]
清代至民国初，阜山属芳桂乡万乐里后山村，民国20年代属福山联保。1949年初属长乐县第六区，此后改设第九区，并设阜山村人民政府。[1]
此后，阜山先后隶属高丰公社、梅花公社与文岭公社，再依次成为文岭乡、文岭镇。阜山大队于1985年更名为阜山村委会，沿用至今。[1]
明教堂与姚坑[edit]
明教堂始建于宋，据博雅地名网，1087年已有书院，为长乐最古老的书院之一，2006年重建。[1]
明教堂先后走出姚颖、姚勉、陈文龙三名状元，书院对面立有陈文龙所立的「元台碑」。[4][3]
陈文龙早年随父定居长乐阜山。[3]
姚坑自然村设有姚广孝纪念馆，馆内悬挂「荣国公府」牌匾。维基百科载，一说姚广孝祖籍为姚坑村。[4][5]
纪念场所[edit]
村里设有「陈文龙纪念馆公园」，纪念陈文龙开辟陈塘港水利设施一事。2000年，村中又建成莺歌山公园。[1]
产业[edit]
水产品冷冻加工是村内的主要产业，另有纺织、塑料制品等企业。[1]
2011年，村民人均收入为7947元，村财收入为153.52万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年12月，阜山村被认定为「2024年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」。2024年1月，「2023年福建省卫生村」称号落在阜山村。[1]
