历史沿革[edit]
村中黄姓先祖于唐大历年间由广南迁至金峰华藏寺一带，此后几经迁移，因海浪侵蚀迁至现址。[2]
1949年后作为自然村归属乡级建制，1980年设沙头顶村委会，沿用至今。[1]
宗祠与人物[edit]
村内的黄氏宗祠于1995年落成，面积约730平方米。[2]
旅港实业家黄柄祥18岁赴香港定居，之后多次捐资兴建村中的自来水、学校和礼堂等公益设施。[1]
