前董村是福建省福州市长乐区文岭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部，村下有7个自然村，依次为赤歧、磨兜、树笼、山仔边、富朱里、禄房与下店。[1]
村内的棋山禅寺始建于唐咸通年间，为长乐的古刹之一，现为宗教活动场所。[3]
建置与地名[edit]
村名来源于古时通往董姓村的道路：先到者称前，后到者称后。土改时起村中即设前董村部，1978年建立前董村行政村，命名沿用至今。[1]
寺庙与宗祠[edit]
棋山禅寺原名碁山寺，位于本村，公元861年（唐咸通年间）创建。唐宋时期殿堂与僧寮众多，僧众曾达四百余人。[3]
寺院在明代遭倭患毁坏，清代初年重建，规模已大不如前。1996年起寺院重新开展宗教活动，2000年大雄宝殿得以重建。[3]
据博雅地名网，棋山寺宋、元、明三代都有修葺和拓建，清康熙年间修后座，雍正年间建前座，直到1946年，寺内仍存有许多佛像。[1]
宋朝后叶已有鳌峰董氏宗祠，2000年在旧址上扩建，并更名为「陇西鳌峰楼」。[2]
自然景观[edit]
天宅湖在村旁，有「旱不干、洪不溢」之说，是农田用水与饮用水的重要水源。[2]
产业[edit]
村内以农业和养殖业为主，主要种植土豆、白萝卜，养殖以鳗场、虾场为主。[2]
荣誉[edit]
前董村于2021年11月获得福建省爱卫办授予的「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将前董村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年12月，前董村被认定为「福州市2024年市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为番薯。[1]
