后董村是福建省福州市长乐区文岭镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东南部，下设五个自然村，依次为新厝、龙口下、小垱尾、大垱尾与后董本村。[1]
村民以董姓为主，祖上于唐元和十三年（818年）自陇西（今甘肃）迁入。[2]
地名与沿革[edit]
早年有一条道路通往董姓村，先到的一支被称为前，后到的一支被称为后，本村即后到者，故名后董。[1]
1949年后称后董乡，后改为后董大队，1982年更名为后董村委会，沿用至今。[1]
宗祠与古迹[edit]
董氏宗祠始建于唐咸通九年（868年），南宋淳熙十五年（1188年）修建为震龙董氏宗祠，1999年重建。[2]
村后山有观音岩，形似观音端坐山顶。村边的镜岩约80平方米，旁有一块高13米、宽5米的岩石，其上刻有「震龙」二字，据说为朱熹题写。艾石山下的日月池，从山上俯视，日池与月池分别如红日与明月。[2]
观音寺后山顶有观音像，俗称「一踏天」；龙山洞始建于后晋天福元年（936年），洞旁建有文昌宫。[2]
教育[edit]
早年村里办过私塾。新中国成立后，村里设立了后董小学；后来该校合并到文岭中心小学，旧校舍成为文岭中心幼儿园。学校在1985年与1996年先后建成教学楼与综合楼。[2]
荣誉[edit]
后董村于2021年11月获得福建省爱卫办授予的「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
