首台村位于金峰镇西北部，背靠大山，属半山区，村中山地资源丰富。[1]

地名由来[edit]

解放初期村委会设在本村，故以本村名为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

起初为首台大队，下辖十个自然村组，1986年改称首台村委会，沿用至今。[1]

作家冰心（谢婉莹）祖籍本村横岭自然村。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村内山林混交，并种有「八贤糯」杨梅、龙眼等果树。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，首台村获命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2023年12月，首台村获得福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村称号，主导产业为莴苣。[1]
