前林村位于太常山下，地处宏源溪东侧，离金峰街很近。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村民的祖籍在福州锦斗桥。三兄弟后来分迁福清、宁德与长乐，约定以「前林」为号，此后三代沿用为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1312年，一支先人从福州金斗桥迁至长乐太常山下，在宏源溪东一处墩地定居，逐渐繁衍，取名前林。[1]

1958年成为前林生产大队，1986年由前林村委会接管，延续至今。[1]

人物[edit]

林准曾任最高人民法院院长，其祖籍地即本村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年2月，前林村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]

2023年12月，前林村被认定为福州市2023年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为花菜。[1]

2022年12月，前林村被确定为2022年度福州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]

前林村在2021年11月获得福建省爱卫办颁发的「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
