金峰社区位于金峰镇旧街区，是镇内的商贸中心片区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

本地原名甘墩，别称炉峰。一百多年前，境内古刹皇恩寺的寺联「鸦池通玉井，镜石照金峰」流传开来，于是改雅称金峰。[1]

博雅地名网记皇恩寺已毁，百度百科与长乐新闻网则称该寺后来在旧址上重建。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此处设金峰居民委员会；2004年，它更名为金峰社区居民委员会并一直沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予金峰社区「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
