鹏陈村是福建省福州市长乐区湖南镇的行政村，位于镇域东南部，紧靠福州长乐国际机场，是一个单一陈姓聚居的村落。[1]

地名由来[edit]

古时村中有谢、陈两姓共居，名为鹏程；分为两村后，以陈姓为主，改称今名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明天启二年（1622年），陈姓人家迁居此地，村庄曾称鹏程村，后更名为鹏陈村委会，沿用至今。[1][2]

经济与土地[edit]

村庄经济原以农耕为主，主要种植番薯、白萝卜、花生等作物。[3]

因机场及航空港工业区建设，约1200亩土地被征用，目前耕地有450亩左右。[3]

村辖内有大小企业近十家，其中规模以上企业5家，主要有针纺织、日化等行业。[3]

湖南中心小学二部、湖南中心幼儿园与湖南中学均位于本村。[3]
