蔡宅村是福建省福州市长乐区湖南镇的行政村，全村面积约1.2平方千米，村民一概为黄姓。[1]

村中保留众多明清古建筑，有民居、祖厅、宗祠等。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此地原为蔡姓居住地，蔡姓人家陆续外迁，将田地让与黄姓，黄氏感念其情，故名蔡宅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民自元朝初年由漳港一带迁入。[1]

1958年，村庄隶属金峰公社，称蔡宅村大队；1994年6月析出，设为独立行政村，称湖南镇蔡宅村委会，沿用至今。[1]

文化与建筑[edit]

蔡宅山上有一笏石，相传村中上祖多出武官。[1]

文化活动中心与广场在2013年10月落成，中心建筑面积7800平方米。[2]

荣誉[edit]

「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号于2021年11月授予蔡宅村，授予方为福建省爱卫办。[1]

2024年6月，蔡宅村列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
