仙宅村是福建省福州市长乐区湖南镇的行政村，与文岭镇接壤，曾是湖南镇人民政府所在地，村中有侨乡之称。[1]

村中有新池、旧池两个自然村，村民池氏先人自闽清迁来，已繁衍五百多年。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名由两字合成，又因是村委会驻地而得名。[1]

人口与建筑[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村内700余户、居民2003人，全村土地合计986亩（未注年份）。[2]

鸿庆寺为清康熙年间所建，寺院用地1200平方米。[2]

2003年建成的新池礼堂，建筑面积3000多平方米，为群众开展文化活动的场所。[2]

村民以前以农业为主。改革开放后，村辖区内陆续进驻纺织与化纤类的规模企业，其中有宏鑫化纤。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把仙宅村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
