京林村位于莲花山麓，原称六林村，因与他处同名而改称，简称京林村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄原称六林村，别名六连。因与他处的六林村同名，改称沙京六林村，后简称京林村。[1]

1949年前属长乐县八区。1949年后归沙京乡管辖，此后曾为沙京大队的一部分；1980年从中分出，成为京林大队，1981年设立京林村委会，此名沿用至今。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村址在莲花山麓。村民居于六房：上店、大路、石柱金门、泮水、南杭、西巷。[2]

人口民族[edit]

514户人家，共1712人；劳动力1027人，外出打工的有585人。[2]

经济[edit]

村内有京林茶厂、永兴羽绒制品厂、富艺家具有限公司等企业。[2]
