莲柄港道由村中穿过。大厝村在鹤上镇东南部，北面与京渡线相接，南面邻近文武砂镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
公社化之前，此地是鹤上公社下的一个生产大队。自1958年起，它列入鹤上公社大厝大队，1966年间一度更名东红大队；1978年归鹤上乡，复称大厝大队；1984年称大厝村，1993年定名为鹤上镇大厝村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村下设三个村民小组。住户375户，人口1300多人，劳动力则有700多人。以上数字均为博雅地名网所载，未注年份。[1]
经济[edit]
村里自办过塑料加工厂两家、纸筒厂一家、经编厂一家。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，大厝村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版绿盈乡村」。大厝村于2021年11月经福建省爱卫办认定，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
