村子旧属善政乡崇贤里，元代为十二都一图，其境称龙溪境。[1]

荣誉[edit]

昆石村于2021年11月获得2021年福建省卫生村的称号，博雅地名网如此载；百度百科则说当时仅列入拟命名公示名单。2022年12月，村子被福建省绿化委员会定为2022年福建省森林村庄。[1][2]
