午山村位于御国山半山腰，是一个以渔业为主的革命老区村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取「御国山」的「御」字中间的「午山」，意思是位于御国山中的小村。村子距今已有200多年。1985年成立村民委员会，1993年分设为独立的村（博雅地名网另记1985年已设村民委员会）。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村辖西洛岛，它是天然的避风岛，过往船只可以在此临时避风、候潮。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以渔业为生，村子地处山海之间，风力发电的资源较好。[1]
文化[edit]
村中保留着清道光丙申年（1836年）四月所立的《御峰桥碑》，碑文说御峰上有桥，古迹尚存，现募缘重建。[1]
2022年12月，午山村被确定为2022年度福州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
