大祉村位于长乐南部，坐落在御国山南麓，濒临东海，村民历来以近海捕捞为生。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取意于御国山下一处福气很盛的村庄。1958年称大祉大队，1966年改称大祉委会，1986年改称大祉村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
近海的西洛岛、仁屿岛、竹排岛与石莲山岛景色秀丽，周围海域出产多种鱼虾和鳗鱼苗。大祉港位于村南，港湾入口砌有坝垱风堤，泊位较大，能避北风与西北风。[1]
人口[edit]

传统渔业以近海捕捞为主，每逢渔汛，沿岸渔船聚集，鱼市兴旺。长融公路穿村而过，交通便利。[1]
