垅下村是松下镇北部沿海的一个行政村，坐落在天池山麓。村里以花边纺织为主要产业，被称为「福建花边第一村」；1984年设村委会。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村子坐落在天池山麓，笔架山与大王山为其屏障，御国山在前作为案山。村境内，大王山与寨下山相对而立，中间的珠山宛如明珠，因而有「双龙戏珠」之说，村名也被写作「龙下村」。明代此处称「垅江镜」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年此地称垅下乡，1958年改称垅下生产大队，1984年设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

人口[edit]

博雅地名网载全村1195户、4568人，未注统计年份；随着经济发展，外来务工人员也有所增加。[1][2]

经济[edit]

改革开放之后，村民纷纷办起企业，花边织造逐渐成为村里的主要产业。据2019年的报道，全村花边企业有200多家，村子被誉为「福建花边第一村」。[3]
