大溪村旧称龙溪，村名与穿村而过的溪流有关。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村上方大溪山的泉水直流而下穿村，溪面宽阔，因此改称大溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后设大溪农会，土地改革期间（1950年7月）组建大溪乡。1958年组建大溪大队，此后改称大溪村委会，沿用至今。[1]

革命历史[edit]

1941年4月，长乐抗日游击队在本村拟定伏击方案，之后在琅尾港南岸设伏，击毁日军汽艇一艘。[3]

文物古迹[edit]

大溪冯福房井为文物点，2013年公布。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，大溪村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会认定。[1]
