历史沿革[edit]
村址在大象山脉下，北面临江，山脚突起三座台地如同岛屿，村因此名为屿后。[1]
1934年，此地属长乐至德里第七区，为营前模范村的范围；此后并入首占乡人民公社。1994年长乐撤县设市后，此处设为长乐市首占镇屿后村委会，延续至今。[1]
2024年1月，本村被命名为2023年福建省卫生村。[1]
