文武砂街道位于福州市长乐区东南部，辖区全部处在滨海新城核心区范围内[2]。辖区面积32.04平方千米[1]，其前身为国营文武砂农场与文武砂镇，2021年6月撤镇改设街道[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，当地动工修堤筑闸、围海垦地，到1957年7月才全部完成[3]。1958年3月创立国营文武砂农场，农场直属福建省农垦厅，按县级建制设置[1][3]。

1973年，原属鹤上公社的壶井大队与江田公社的东山大队划入文武砂公社[3]。1979年农场恢复运作，实行场社合一；1984年撤社建乡，1992年改镇。镇政府与农场合署，镇名定为文武砂镇[1][3]。

当地相传明初刘伯温经过此地时留下一句谶语，其中一句说壶井将出状元，至今仍有人提起[5]。

2021年6月6日，街道成立揭牌仪式举行，文武砂镇正式改为街道。当时街道共有8个行政村、3个农场作业区，另设2个社区居委会[2]。

人口[edit]

2019年末户籍人口为27660人[1]，2021年街道成立时统计的总户数为8216户[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

2013年公布的不可移动文物点中，街道辖区有七处，其中古建筑五处、石刻两处，分布在东岱、岐西、下吴、壶东、壶井、山顶和洽屿七个村，各村条目中分别记述[4]。

壶东村的忠义林长房祖厅为明代天启年间建筑，百度百科把它列为街道的景点之一[1][6]。
